What is permitted

Reproducing the material for non-commercial purposes, keeping the design and the IPN emblem, and citing the source. Any other use, including modifying the design or commercial use, requires written authorisation from the Institute.

Rights

The economic rights belong to the Instituto Politécnico Nacional, which has registered three editions with Mexico’s national copyright office, INDAUTOR:

• Original edition, 2009 — 03-2009-120211370900-01
• Second edition, 2013 — 03-2013-090510414900-01
• Third edition, 2021 — 03-2021-062811410900-01, which incorporated forms of digital violence

The version for primary and secondary education, the semáforo de la violencia, has registrations of its own.
